Much of the credit for the film’s success goes to Telugu superstar Prabhas, who elicited cheers and whistles when he emerged bare-chested from a waterfall in his first scene at a sold-out XD screening near Silicon Valley on the film’s opening Friday.
Although he isn’t as well known to Hindi film fans as that other famously shirtless starSalman Khan, Prabhas has a presence grand enough to transcend language. His Bahubali is more than a superhuman leader of men able to heft a two-ton stone Shiva lingam; the muscle-bound, bearded actor manages to imbue him with vulnerability and pureness of spirit.
It’s possible to enjoy the film as pure entertainment even without being privy to the superlatives surrounding it: Bahubali boasts the largest film poster in the world (a 50,000-square-foot billboard in Kochi), the highest budget of any Indian film to date (a reported $40 million), and is now expected to break box office records in India and around the world.

A girl's life cascades into chaos as everyone around her suffers a gruesome fate while she herself becomes less and less certain of who she is and what kind of a world she lives in.
Let's start saying that I will not deny Mr Sono his desire to push boundaries and be original. Just 5 minutes into the movie and we have like 200 million women that have been cut in half but some weird wind. Women, yes, because well, you will notice quite soon that men are not ones to be seen around a lot in this movie.
But the problem is that he just seems to want to be original for the sake of it, and doing so, ends repeating himself quite a bit. Leaving out all his religious symbols and passion for underwear, that come up in all of his movies (or at least in all I have seen), he ends just being a marvelous director in terms of camera-work, scenery, original shots, etc etc, and horrible in the plot department. I enjoy looking at his movies, but from a distance, and like for 5 minutes, when I notice there is no plot to hold the visuals.
But where in Tokyo Tribe, for example, he had a more or less original plot and crazy idea (a story told by actors "rapping"; I'm generous here by calling their singing rapping, but it's part of the movie...) here we just have random situations that are hold together by... well, nothing. We have poor Mitsuko (Reina Triendl) just running around from one place to the other while something (I think he is winking his eye at Sam Raimi here; or just plainly copying) at first, teachers later, and well, weird things further on (I'll let you see it if you are interested) try to kill her. Poor Reina Triendl is not very expressive in this movie, but well, she has not much to work on. I see Mr. Sono telling her: LOOK SCARED! SCARED! JUST LOOK SCARED AND RUN!
If this review makes no sense to you, the movie will make less. Sono, as Miike Takashi before he went mainstream, tries to be original and ends like the drunkard that loses himself in his own story by leaving everyone else scratching their heads. Original, yes; makes no sense, you betcha.

Everyone has their own idea of what love is in a romantic relationship. Love should not be an act of desperation. Desperate love will allow any feelings of self-worth to diminish over time, causing someone to only feel worse and lose respect for themselves. Work on getting rid of any insecurities you may have, and make sure you are being loved for the right reasons. Love does not allow for any violence, controlling behavior, or manipulation.
Love should not be based on how much the other person loves you, or how much you need them. That kind of love is immature and it will only cause you more harm overtime. If you ever suspect that you have carried any emotional baggage into your relationship, then the best thing for you to do is to resolve these issues before someone gets hurt. Love that is based on a one-way emotional rescue will bring you down, along with the other person you care about.
There are certain characteristics we show when we are in love. Selfless behavior shows that you are not just thinking about yourself, but that you're also concerned about your partners needs as well. You will be concerned about your partners growth in life, and become more supportive and understanding, even if you feel like being critical. You will have a desire to forgive, and realize that no one is perfect in life.
Your love grows when you are able to focus on the good things about someone. You will see both the positive and the negative side of someone, but you will love them no matter what. When your partner does that little thing that irritates you, it will be easier to look past it. You will realize that it's not worth getting angry over, and causing a scene. Love allows for anger, but in a controlled manner. Love is about being able to compromise. If emotional pain was caused you're allowed to let your partner know when they have done wrong.
Love is about caring and showing affection and intimacy towards the other person. You will have a romantic desire towards your partner, not a lustful desire. With a romantic desire to be intimate and affectionate towards your partner, an emotional bond will grow between the two of you. It will become stronger overtime and will bring you closer together.
Love is built on mutual interest, care, trust, and respect. You will have a desire to be committed to your partner in any type of situation, such as one where infidelity may be a temptation. Or even when faced with negative comments from others about your partner. Your commitment will allow you to be faithful and true to your partner, and you will be willing to stick up for them at all costs.
It is important to realize that love is about expecting to give, not expecting to get. It's true that the more you give the more you love. You don't have to buy your partner something nice every day, but you can do nice things for them often. Something as simple as a romantic dinner at home. Give them a massage with candles lit around the room. The desire to give will make you feel great about yourself, and most importantly make your partner feel great. A relationship grows successfully when both partners commit to behaving in a loving manner, through continual and unconditional giving. Not only saying "I love you" but also showing it. We experience love as a feeling, and we express it as an action.

The Bayon Temple
Jayavarman VII built the Bayon in the late 12th century as his state temple. It is located at the physical center of Angkor Thom, the nine square kilometer or (three and a half square) mile city complex, and is the focal point of the building boom Jayavarman VII initiated after he defeated the Chams to reclaim the Khmer Empire. As with his other constructions, the Bayon is a Mahayana Buddhist temple; its primary deity is Avalokitshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. Since the Bayon sits in the center of Angkor Thom, his state capital, this monument makes the entire capital a temple complex, with the walls of the city and the moat representing the outer mountain ranges and oceans of the mythical Hindu universe. In various ways the relationship between Hinduism and Buddhism is seen here. Just as the Victory Gate was part of a three-dimensional representation of the Churning of the Sea of Milk, with Phinemeakas as the central churning stick, the Bayon is a similar representation with the gates at the four cardinal points of Angkor Thom. The naga balustrade of one side of a gate that symbolically extends to the Bayon, wraps around the temple, and then continues to the opposite gate, where the opposing force holds the other side of the snake. The Bayon sits in the center as another metaphorical Mt. Meru. This setup also makes the Bayon look a bit different, since its outer walls are so far removed as to seem nonexistent. From the outside, this gives the Bayon an open feel, but the interior of the temple is actually quite cramped. The temple is organized on three levels, but the specific arrangement has led scholars to believe that the original plan was a flat temple along the lines of Ta Prohm, which is located to the east.
While the bas-reliefs of the Hindu temples often deal with the gods and their epic adventures, those in the outer gallery of the Bayon deal more with historical events and everyday life. Part of the reason for this change in focus may be the differing views of the Hindu and Buddhist religions. The Hindu religion puts much emphasis on matters of cosmic importance like the battle of gods to maintain good and evil. The Buddhist religion emphasizes that enlightenment is achievable by the actions of the individual. For an example of a Buddhist bas-relief, take a look at the bas-reliefs of the southern gallery. Some of its highlights are the bas-relief that details battles with the rival Cham Empire as well as everyday market scenes, fisherman, and even a cockfight. The inner galleries primarily depict Hindu mythology again. These were added by Jayavarman VIII, a successor who restored Hinduism as the state religion of the Hindu Khmer Empire. He converted the Bayon to a Hindu temple, and these bas-reliefs were added later to reflect this change. Some of these images are vague beyond their connection to certain gods like Shiva and Vishnu, but of course classic stories like the Churning of the Sea of Milk appear, too. In addition to adding the more strictly Hindu imagery, Jayavarman VIII took the main statue from the central tower's sanctuary, a 3.6 meter (or 12 foot) tall Buddha, and smashed it, throwing the pieces down a well. The statue was recovered and pieced back together again in 1933. It now sits in a small pavilion on the road from the Victory Gate to the Elephant Terrace to the northeast of here.
The real draw of the Bayon, however, is the top level. As in the other temples, the stairs lead up from each of the four cardinal points to the top level, where over four dozen towers hold giant faces nearly 2 meters (or six feet) in height. Most of the faces are oriented to the cardinal points of each tower, and with so many four-faced towers at different heights, you always have someone looking over your shoulder. It really is interesting to view the towers from different angles to see how the faces line up.
The exact meaning of the faces is still under debate by scholars. One explanation is that the primary deity of the temple is Avalokiteshvara, also known as Lokesvara, or the "lord who gazes down on the world" or "he who hears the cries of people who need help". Avalokiteshvara is a bodhisattva or Buddha-to-be who listens to the prayers of people in need and has postponed his own enlightenment until he has assisted all people in achieving nirvana. To help all of these people and hear all their prayers, he would need many eyes and ears, which may explain the multiple faces. Others have argued that the face is that of Jayavarman VII himself. This is also realistic, since Jayavarman VII considered himself a devaraja, or god-king. George Coedes, a former director of the École Française d'extrème-orient, also known as the EFEO, saw these two interpretations as complementary rather than mutually exclusive. Since Jayavarman VII considered himself a god-king, it makes sense that he would use himself as the prototype of Avalokiteshvara. The reason for the huge number of faces remains a mystery. Some have tried to tie some significance to the number of faces, but the state of disrepair of the temple has made accurate counts difficult.
The Bayon is one of the more popular temples. To avoid most of the crowds, you might want to time your visit for dawn or sunset. Most of the crowds flock to Angkor Wat at dawn and the hill Phnom Bakheng at sunset, allowing you to enjoy some solitude at the Bayon. The golden, slanted light at those times of the day make the faces even more magical, as the enigmatic smile of one face will jump out past the shadow of another. It's worth an early morning trip, because those moments are the true magic of the temples of Angkor.

Angkor Wat: One of the Wonders of World
Authors, photographers and painters have described Angkor Wat to the fullest of their imagination as architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It has been said to represent microcosm of the Hindu universe with its five peaks symbolising Mount Meru - the house of the gods and the divines. To the King himself, Angkor Wat represents power and divinity.
Century of temple construction starting from the early 6th century brick temple of Sambor Prei Kuk in Kompong Thom to the oldest temple mountain Ak Yum in the Angkor area in the late 8th century and to the 9th century Lolei at Rolous plus many more temples and centuries later, Suryavarman II in the 12th century had perfected the art of temple construction with his show piece of Angkor - the sheer size and the balance of time and space plus its unrivaled beauty. The architecture of Angkor Wat has been said to reach its peak of classical Khmer construction.
Angkor Wat is a three-tiers galleries styled pyramid having quincunx towers with its central tower raised 65 meters above ground. Unlike other mountain temples it was constructed from man made mountain. It was a city temple with the royal palace and city within its wall-all made from perishable materials. The temple precinct surrounded by a moat and exterior wall measuring 1300 meters by 1500 meters with the large causeway 12 meters in width leading from western side 250 meters across the moat and follow by another causeway 350 meters long and 10 meters in width to Angkor proper.

- It was never really forgotten, it was turned into a Buddhist monastery and continues to be a place of worship. Capuchin friar Antonio da Magdaena visited Angkor Wat between 1558 and 1585.
